The claim covers the unclaimed area to the west of Gingirana known as Cardowan Hill.

Representatives of Gingirana # 3 and Nharnuwangga, Wajarri and Ngarla People #2 met in Court ordered mediation in May 2023 and an agreement in-principle to resolve the overlap was reached at that meditation. The area is now likely to proceed to a consent determination involving both groups in December 2023.
